Traditional Undergraduate Catalog 2026-2027

Course and Fee Statements are available on the NNU Portal. The "Student" tab provides options to view the financial aid awarded to you, your Course and Fee Statement and the option to interact with both.  The Course and Fee Statement displays and explains each semester's balance due, estimated charges, financial aid, completed payments and credits.

Changes in a student's course load may result in an increase or decrease of charges and/or financial aid. When adding or dropping classes, a student should contact an NNU Financial Aid Specialist to determine any changes to financial aid and/or total balance. It is the student's responsibility to ensure timely payment and/or communication with any third-party payer who may be providing funds to the account.

A student's balance due can be determined by reviewing the course and fee statement located on the student portal.  A student payment and/or payment plan must satisfy the balance due after all pending aid.  Financial Aid that does not resolve by the end of semester will be the responsibility of the student.

Questions concerning Student Accounts should be directed to (208) 467-8534, 1-877-668-4968 or studentaccounts@nnu.edu

The Student Financial Service Office is located in the lower level of the Emerson Building, on campus. The Student Financial Services Office (Financial Aid and Student Accounts) is open for in-person visits from 8AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday.

Northwest Nazarene University offers a wide range of undergraduate majors, co-majors, and minors across its academic departments.

In order to earn a bachelor’s degree, a student must complete one major or two co-majors. Although a minor is not required, it provides a well-defined set of courses identifying a secondary area of expertise.

Education involves not only the mind, but the development of the whole person, including the use of one's body, the management of emotions, the development of independence, the establishment of identity, and the development of purpose and integrity. Northwest Nazarene University is committed to the development of the whole person through the opportunities provided by a residential campus setting.

The commitment to the development of the whole person finds reality in numerous organized activities and programs including counseling and guidance, resident life programs, spiritual development, chapel, health services, social, recreational, and leisure time activities, intercollegiate and intramural sports programs, and a productive system of student government.
