NURS3500: Acute Maternal/Child Nursing

This course focuses on the care of the pre-natal client and family, birth process, newborn, and acute pediatric care. Assessment and evidence-based interventional nursing care of the childbearing family and families with young children. Students will apply course content to the care of families, infants, and children in the acute care setting. Clinical assignments will be published the first week of class. (2 credits didactic and 1 credit clinical/sim)
