NURS3500L: Acute Maternal/Child Nursing: Clinical/SIM/Lab

This course is a Clinical/SIM/Lab component linked to the NURS3500 didactic course. It is designed to provide hands-on learning activities in which students will be required to demonstrate mastery in the application of concepts related to maternal/child nursing that are taught in NURS3500. As the title suggests, a variety of hands on learning modalities may be used including clinical, simulation, and/or lab. Students must successfully master the competencies required in both NURS3500 and NURS3500L (as outlined in the BSN Student Handbook). If competencies in either one of these components (NURS3500 or NURS3500L) are not met, the entire set (both NURS3500 and NURS3500L) must be completed successfully before the student qualifies to progress in the nursing program. This is a pass/fail course
