NURS3500L: Acute Maternal/Child Nursing: Clinical/SIM/Lab

This course is a Clinical/SIM/Lab component linked to the NURS3500 didactic course. It is designed to provide hands-on learning activities in which students must demonstrate mastery in applying concepts related to maternal/child nursing taught in NURS 3500. As the title suggests, various hands-on learning modalities, including clinical, simulation, and/or lab, may be used. Students must successfully master the competencies required in both courses. If neither of these components' competencies are met, both courses must be completed successfully before the student qualifies to progress in the nursing program as outlined in the BSN Student Handbook. This is a pass/fail course.
