This course is a clinical/SIM/Lab component linked to the NURS3310 didactic course. It is designed to provide hands-on learning activities in which students will be required to demonstrate mastery in the application of concepts related to introductory Trauma and ICU levels of care that are taught in NURS3310. As the title suggests, a variety of hands on learning modalities may be used including clinical, simulation, and/or lab. Students must successfully master the competencies required in both NURS3310 and NURS3310L (as outlined in the BSN Student Handbook). If competencies in either one of these components (NURS3310 or NURS3310L) are not met, the entire set (both NURS3310 and NURS3310L) must be completed successfully before the student qualifies to progress in the nursing program. This is a pass/fail course.
