NURS3310L: Acute Care III: Clinical/SIM/Lab

This course is a clinical/SIM/Lab component linked to the NURS3310 didactic course. It is designed to provide hands-on learning activities in which students will be required to demonstrate mastery in applying concepts related to introductory Trauma and ICU levels of care taught in NURS3310. As the title suggests, a variety of hands-on learning modalities may be used, including clinical, simulation, and/or lab. Students must successfully master the competencies required in both NURS3310 and NURS3310L. If competencies in either one of these components are not met, the entire course must be completed successfully before the student qualifies to progress in the nursing program as outlined in the BSN Student Handbook. This is a pass/fail course.
