NURS3110L: Acute Care I: Clinical/SIM/Lab

This course is a Clinical/SIM/Lab component linked to the NURS3110 didactic course. It is designed to provide hands-on learning activities in which students will be required to demonstrate mastery in applying concepts related to the nursing management of patients with one acute health condition taught in NURS3110. As the title suggests, a variety of hands-on learning modalities may be used, including clinical, simulation, and/or lab. Students must successfully master the competencies required in both NURS3110 and NURS3110L. If competencies in either one of these components are not met, the entire course must be successfully completed before the student qualifies to progress in the nursing program as outlined in the BSN Student Handbook. This is a pass/fail course.
