The focus of this course will be health assessment through the gathering of subjective and objective data through interview and physical examination of the adult client. An introduction to the nursing process, communication skills and documentation as related to health assessment will be presented. Older adult and cultural considerations will be addressed for each body system. Variations of assessment for the pediatric client will be included. Clinical/Nursing lab component.
