This course focuses on the application of critical thinking through the use of a clinical judgment framework. It integrates concepts from course prerequisites in the development and implementation of individualized plans of care for clients/patients based on the principles of evidence-based practice. The student will learn essential interventions, medication administration, and critical nursing skills. This course has a required lab component. The student must register for a section of NURS2005L along with this didactic course. Both courses must be completed to progress through the nursing program as outlined in the BSN Student Handbook.
