NURS3010L: The Child Bearing Family: Clinical/SIM/Lab

This course is a Clinical/SIM/Lab component linked to the NURS3010 didactic course. It is designed to provide hands-on learning activities in which students will be required to demonstrate mastery in the application of concepts related to the nursing care of the child bearing family that are taught in NURS3010. As the title suggests, a variety of hands on learning modalities may be used including clinical, simulation, and/or lab. Students must successfully master the competencies required in both NURS3010 and NURS3010L (as outlined in the BSN Student Handbook). If competencies in either one of these components (NURS3010 or NURS3010L) are not met, the entire set both NURS3010 and NURS3010L must be completed successfully before the student qualifies to progress in the nursing program. This is a pass/fail course.
