This course is a Lab component linked to the NURS2005 didactic course. It is designed to provide hands-on learning activities in which students will be required to demonstrate mastery in applying fundamental concepts related to clinical judgment and basic nursing skills introduced in NURS2005. A variety of hands-on learning modalities may be used in a lab setting. Students must successfully master the competencies required in both NURS2005 and NURS2005L. If competencies in either one of these components are not met, both courses must be repeated before the student qualifies to progress in the nursing program.
