This course is a Clinical/SIM/Lab component linked to the NURS4010 didactic course. It is designed to provide hands-on learning activities in which students will be required to demonstrate mastery in the application of concepts related to the nursing management of chronic conditions across the lifespan that are taught in NURS4010. As the title suggests, a variety of hands on learning modalities may be used including clinical, simulation, and/or lab. Students must successfully master the competencies required in both NURS4010 and NURS4010L (as outlined in the BSN Student Handbook). If competencies in either one of these components (NURS4010 or NURS4010L) are not met, the entire set both NURS4010 and NURS4010L must be completed successfully before the student qualifies to progress in the nursing program. This is a pass/fail course.
