NURS3220L: Community I: Clinical/SIM/Lab

This course is a Clinical/SIM/Lab component linked to the NURS3220 didactic course. It is designed to provide hands-on learning activities in which students will be required to demonstrate mastery in the application of concepts related to community health nursing that are taught in NURS3220. As the title suggests, a variety of hands on learning modalities may be used including clinical, simulation, and/or lab. Students must successfully master the competencies required in both NURS3220 and NURS3220L (as outlined in the BSN Student Handbook). If competencies in either one of these components (NURS3220 or NURS3220L) are not met, the entire set both NURS3220 and NURS3220L must be completed successfully before the student qualifies to progress in the nursing program. This is a pass/fail course.
