NURS3110: Acute Care I

This introduction to acute care course examines the components of clinical judgment for managing care for the patient/client with one medical diagnosis. The student will gain clinical judgment skills to ensure safe, quality, patient-centered, evidence-based, and inter-professionally collaborative nursing care. This course has a required clinical component. Both NURS3110 and NURS3110L must be successfully completed to progress through the nursing program as outlined in the BSN Student Handbook.

Prerequisites

NURS2030 may be accepted for NURS2005.
