NURS3200L: Chronic Care II: Clinical/SIM/Lab

This course is a Clinical/SIM/Lab component linked to the NURS3200 didactic course. It is designed to provide hands-on learning activities in which students will be required to demonstrate mastery in the application of concepts related to care of the patient/clinet with mental health co-morbidities and advanced therapeutic communication skills. As the title suggests, a variety of hands on learning modalities may be used including clinical, simulation, and/or lab. Students must successfully master the competencies required in both NURS3200 and NURS3200L (as outlined in the BSN Student Handbook). If competencies in either one of these components (NURS3200 or NURS3200L) are not met, the entire set (both NURS3200 and NURS3200L) must be completed successfully before the student qualifies to progress in the nursing program. This is a pass/fail course.
