Honors are awarded to bachelor's degree students according to the following criteria:
- Summa Cum Laude is awarded to students with a cumulative grade point average at or above 3.900.
- Magna Cum Laude is awarded to students with a cumulative grade point average between 3.750 and 3.899.
- Cum Laude is awarded to students with a cumulative grade point average between 3.500 and 3.749.
Students are eligible for graduation honors if they have completed at least 60 semester credits at Northwest Nazarene University or were admitted with a transfer cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher. Eligibility is determined using the cumulative GPA based solely on coursework completed at Northwest Nazarene University. Honors calculations are based on all credits earned and grades received through the fall semester preceding graduation.
