NURS3010: The Childbearing Family

Focuses on health promotion for the perinatal client and family, including the newborn, in the acute care and community setting. Evidence-based nursing care of childbearing families with the application of pharmacology, physiology, and pathophysiology. Women's health is a component of this course. This class has a required clinical component. The student must register for a section of NURS3010L along with this didactic course. Both must be successfully completed to progress through the nursing program as outlined in the BSN Student Handbook. 

Prerequisites

NURS2030 can be accepted for NURS2005. NURS2030L can be accepted for NURS2005L.
