A performance-focused jazz ensemble experience for instrumentalists interested in both large ensemble (Big Band) and small group (Combo) settings. Students study and perform a broad range of repertoire spanning the jazz tradition, with emphasis on stylistic interpretation, ensemble skills, improvisation, and musicianship. Open to all students; placement by audition. Additional fee required.
