NURS3030L: Medical Surgical Nursing: Clinical/SIM/Lab

This course is a Clinical/SIM/Lab component linked to the NURS3030 didactic course. It is designed to provide hands-on learning activities in which students will be required to demonstrate mastery in the application of concepts related to the nursing management of acute and chronic conditions that are taught in NURS3030. As the title suggests, a variety of hands on learning modalities may be used including clinical, simulation, and/or lab. Students must successfully master the competencies required in both NURS3030 and NURS3030L (as outlined in the BSN Student Handbook). If competencies in either one of these components (NURS3030 or NURS3030L) are not met, the entire set both NURS3030 and NURS3030L must be completed successfully before the student qualifies to progress in the nursing program. This is a pass/fail course.
