This course focuses on the management of individuals with acute and chronic mental disorders in acute and community settings. Application of psychopharmacology will be integrated. This course has a required clinical component. The student must register for a section of NURS3020L along with this didactic course. The didactic (NURS3020) course is linked to the clinical component (NURS 3020L). Both must be successfully completed to progress through the nursing program (please refer to the BSN Student Handbook for specific progression requirements). (3 credits) Fee: Additional fee required.
