Clinical judgment skills are applied to selected acute and chronic disease processes in the care of adult patients and their families. Critical thinking and clinical reasoning are emphasized as part of providing safe, quality nursing care that is patient centered, evidence based, and interprofessionally collaborative. This course has a required clinical component. The student must register for a section of NURS3030L along with this didactic course. The didactic (NURS3030) course is linked to the clinical component (NURS 3030L). Both must be successfully completed to progress through the nursing program (please refer to the BSN Student Handbook for specific progression requirements).
